Mary is creating an adaptive fashion brand for all bodies and all sizes.
She creates clothing with hidden zips and fixings so people can more easily dress themselves. Her designs ensure people do not have to fully undress for medical examinations or in other situations. This makes the wearer feel more comfortable and confident.
This year Mary was featured at London Fashion Week, with a group of disabled models wearing her adaptive designs. She is also working in partnership with well-known high street names to bring adaptive fashion into the mainstream. Mary believes accessible clothing must be financially affordable to be truly accessible.
Mary has appeared on The One Show and Steph’s Packed Lunch talking about her designs and spoken at several conferences. Mary’s designs have featured in Style and the Mail on Sunday. She regularly talks about the need for adaptive fashion to be attractive and desirable, ensuring the people who wear her clothes feel confident.
In the last 12 months Mary has sold clothing across the UK and in 10 US states.
In 2024 Mary is starting a new adaptive fashion brand for children.
Mary believes there is a sweetspot where fashion, accessibility and disability meet and is working tirelessly to change fashion for better.
